11841 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian, VA 23113

History
In 1949, Pence Briggs Inc. was created and started a Studebaker dealership at 2900 North Avenue in Richmond.  They later added the Lloyd line, a German front wheel drive car.  Later they decided to drop the Studebaker franchise and became an American Motors dealer.  In 1960 they moved to Belt Boulevard near Midlothian Turnpike. Ten years later the firm switched from American Motors to become a Datsun dealer.  It wasn’t long thereafter that Pence Briggs Datsun was looking for more space to conduct business, resulting in another move to the Giant Open Air facility.  This was a huge upgrade from the previous facility and allowed Pence to grow and excel in the automotive industry. As the years moved by, Pence Datsun (Nissan) decided to move one more time and in 1990 moved to its current location at 11841 Midlothian turnpike.  This move proved to be the most beneficial of them all.  The new location lent itself to a larger demographic and what has become the beginning of the Midlothian Motor Mile.
